First Glimpse of Ram Darbar Unveiled in Ayodhya as Pran Pratishtha Ceremony Commences

Ayodhya | June 5, 2025

A significant spiritual milestone was reached in Ayodhya today as the sacred Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of the Ram Darbar began, revealing the divine idols of Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Lakshman, and Lord Hanuman in their majestic form for the very first time. The event has marked a deeply emotional and historic moment for millions of devotees across the world.

Held within the sanctum sanctorum of the newly constructed Ram Mandir, the ceremony echoed with powerful Vedic chants and rituals performed by learned priests from across India. The air in Ayodhya turned reverent as the intricately sculpted idols were unveiled amidst floral offerings, traditional music, and chants of “Jai Shri Ram”.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was the chief guest at the ceremony and performed the main rituals along with the temple trust members and senior seers. Speaking on the occasion, CM Yogi hailed the moment as the “dawn of a new spiritual era” and reiterated the commitment of the state to make Ayodhya a global center for Sanatan Dharma and spiritual tourism.

This unveiling marks the continuation of the final phase of temple consecration, following the idol installation of Ram Lalla earlier this year in January, witnessed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Large LED screens were placed across Ayodhya to allow pilgrims and locals to witness the sacred event live. Devotees from all corners of the country had gathered outside the temple premises to catch a glimpse of the Ram Darbar and offer their prayers.

The grandeur and spiritual intensity of the event have reaffirmed Ayodhya's central place in India’s religious and cultural consciousness.
