Hyderabad, 31 May 2025 – In a glittering ceremony held at the HITEX Convention Centre in Hyderabad, Thailand's Opal Suchata Chuangsri was crowned Miss World 2025, emerging victorious among dozens of contestants from around the globe.
The 24-year-old beauty queen and social advocate impressed the judges not only with her stunning presence and elegance but also with her eloquent responses and commitment to humanitarian causes. Her win marks a significant achievement for Thailand on the global stage, with Opal being praised for her poise, intelligence, and advocacy work.
The grand finale featured spectacular performances, traditional showcases, and intense rounds including evening gown presentations, interviews, and question-answer segments that tested each finalist’s vision, values, and charisma.
India’s Nandini Gupta, a strong contender and crowd favorite, made it to the Top 8, but fell short of reaching the final five. Her journey, however, was celebrated by the audience and she received a standing ovation for her performance and dedication.
