Australia’s Leader of the Opposition, The Hon. Sussan Ley MP, has shared a special message acknowledging the significant contribution of the Indian-Australian community to the nation.
In her short video message, Ms Ley highlighted that people of Indian origin are known for their hard work and dedication, and have made remarkable achievements in education, business, science, arts, and cultural life.
She said that the Indian-Australian community continues to strengthen Australia’s multicultural identity. Ms Ley also assured that the Opposition is committed to listening to the voices of multicultural communities and raising their concerns in Parliament.
The Opposition has further expressed its intention to maintain open communication with Indian media outlets and community organisations, underlining the importance of ongoing dialogue.
This initiative is being seen as an important step toward building stronger ties with the Indian community in Australia.
ऑस्ट्रेलिया की विपक्ष की नेता, माननीय सुसान लेय सांसद (MP) ने भारतीय-ऑस्ट्रेलियाई समुदाय को विशेष संदेश भेजते हुए उनके योगदान की सराहना की है।
अपने संक्षिप्त वीडियो संदेश में उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय मूल के लोग न केवल मेहनत और समर्पण के लिए जाने जाते हैं, बल्कि उन्होंने शिक्षा, व्यवसाय, विज्ञान, कला और सांस्कृतिक जीवन के हर क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय भूमिका निभाई है।
सुसान लेय ने कहा कि भारतीय-ऑस्ट्रेलियाई समुदाय आज ऑस्ट्रेलिया की बहुसांस्कृतिक पहचान को और मजबूत बना रहा है। उन्होंने आश्वासन दिया कि विपक्ष समुदाय की आवाज़ सुनने और उनकी चिंताओं को संसद में उठाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
विपक्ष की ओर से यह भी कहा गया है कि वे भारतीय मीडिया और सामुदायिक संगठनों के साथ खुले संवाद को महत्व देते हैं और भविष्य में लगातार संवाद बनाए रखना चाहते हैं।
