Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has reportedly walked out of a film project backed by producer Ekta Kapoor. The reason behind her exit is said to be a disagreement over fees. According to sources, Shraddha was demanding a share in the film's profits instead of just a fixed remuneration.
The film, which was expected to go on floors soon, had created quite a buzz due to the collaboration between Shraddha and Ekta. However, negotiations reportedly fell through when the actress insisted on a profit-sharing model rather than accepting the offered fee, which was said to be around ₹17 crore.
Ekta Kapoor, known for her strong stance on budgeting and business terms, apparently did not agree to the revised structure, leading to a fallout between the two.
As of now, the production team is believed to be looking for a replacement lead actress for the project.
