In addition to being able to top up on the move, the new version has a number of other improvements that will make it even easier for Opal customers.

NSW continues to have the strongest employment market among the states, recording the lowest unemployment rate for the tenth consecutive month and adding more than 126,000 jobs over the last year, today’s ABS data shows.
Over the year to March, NSW added more than double the number of jobs than the next strongest state and created more jobs than the rest of Australia combined.

Acting Premier and Minister for Police Troy Grant and Minister for Roads Duncan Gay today announced new incident response measures to clear accidents faster following a review of a major crash on Sydney Harbour Bridge last month.

A smart solution to rubbish disposal is set to be trialled in Parramatta with Council finalising plans to install two high-tech compactor ‘smart bins’ in the city’s CBD.
Parramatta will join a small and exclusive club of Australian cities that utilise the technology. The bins have also been rolled out overseas in Smart Cities such as Barcelona, Amsterdam and New York.

The official data released today showed retail trade increased by 4.6 per cent in the year to February, above the national result of 3.3 per cent.
